FastPath is MTM Health’s managed online referral pathway. GPs refer in minutes, then MTM contacts the patient, helps them take the next step and supports them into psychological care.
Why FastPath
Cost, availability and administration can stop a patient from moving from a GP consultation into care. FastPath gives the practice one simple referral point and gives the patient active support after the referral is sent.
How FastPath works
FastPath reduces work for the practice while helping the patient act while they are ready to engage.
Submit the essential GP and patient details online. Attach the Mental Health Treatment Plan or referral if it is ready—the upload is optional at this stage.
We contact the patient the same business day where possible and always within 24 business hours of receiving the referral.
MTM helps the patient understand the next step and find a suitable psychologist based on what they are experiencing and current availability.
We support booking and commencement, then provide appropriate feedback to the referring GP in line with consent, privacy and clinical requirements.
For GPs and practice teams
Send the essential details without completing another lengthy form. MTM coordinates directly with the patient and returns to the practice when GP input or clinically relevant communication is required.
